Ballet to Badgers at the Carnival

Created by Emily 3 years ago
One memory of dad that I remember very clearly involves him and our local carnival. It was a Saturday morning and I had just completed my ballet exam. Around the same time, the carnival parade began and that was a problem – I was meant to be part of the parade with Badgers. Dad had taken me to my exam and as quickly as he could, drove back to Brackley where I got ready for the parade. It had already started. While it was in procession, dad rushed me to the Badgers float in front of hundreds of people. The float stopped and dad lifted me up, trying to get me onto the float. The parade began to slow down but dad was determined! He managed to lift me onto the float.
I have so many fond memories of dad and the time we spent together, and I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life. I love you dad and I will miss you every day. Love Emily.
